- 4 chicken cutlets
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a blender, combine basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pulse until finely chopped.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Dip each chicken cutlet in the egg, then coat with the basil mixture, followed by the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook each cutlet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer cutlets to a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with a side of pasta or salad.
- Can substitute chicken with turkey cutlets.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
