Description

Italian Basil Chicken Cutlets are tender chicken pieces coated in a flavorful basil mixture.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a blender, combine basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pulse until finely chopped.
  4. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  6. Dip each chicken cutlet in the egg, then coat with the basil mixture, followed by the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Cook each cutlet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  9. Transfer cutlets to a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
